Hazel Samuels , Chairperson
Hazel Samuels is the Director of Housing and Community Development for the city of Asbury Park . Her department coordinates, implements and develops all of the city's homeownership and economic development programs and initiatives. She is a trustee and board member of many New Jersey based non-profit organizations.
Robert Mulvey, Esq., Treasurer
Robert Mulvey is the Founder and Executive Director of New Directions Community-Based Research Institute, Inc. which provides grassroots organizational development and technical assistance efforts. He is an attorney who has also been previously employed in Academia as an Associate Professor at LIU and in local government as the City Manager of Yonkers, NY. Mr. Mulvey has also served on non-profit boards that advocate for housing and homelessness prevention.
Vanessa Nazario, Secretary
Vanessa Nazario is the manager of Community Lending for PNC Bank, N.A. Her work is geared to Community Development mortgages. Ms. Nazario has worked previously as a Housing Coordinator and an Outreach Counselor for the Mercer County Hispanic Association.

Grace Corpuz, Trustee
Grace Corpuz is a Community Lending Consultant. She has worked for several financial institution's community lending and development divisions. Ms. Corpuz has also served many social work and financial literacy programs. She has created mentoring programs in which successful graduates of empowerment programs assist those currently working on achieving similar goals.
Ed Johnson , Trustee
Ed Johnson is Director of Brookdale Community College's regional Higher Education Center in Long Branch, NJ . His work focuses on multicultural education, public affairs and leadership development. Mr. Johnson is a member of the Asbury Park City Council. He is the Founding Chairman of the Springwood Avenue Advisory Committee for the redevelopment of Asbury Park 's traditionally minority business district. He is a trustee and board member of numerous organizations focusing on diversity, education and children's advocacy.
Robert Mueller, Trustee
Robert Mueller is a retired senior executive of several financial institutions, whose activities included local, regional and worldwide lending and risk management. Mr. Mueller currently serves on the Boards of Danita Container, Inc., the Community Preservation Corp. and the Borough of Manhattan Community College Fund. He is an Advisory Board Member of Neighborhood Housing Services of New York, Inc.
Josh Zinner, Esq., Trustee
Josh Zinner is a practicing supervising attorney for OXFAM International. The organization's mission is to find lasting solutions to poverty, suffering and injustice throughout the world. Mr. Zinner was previously employed by South Brooklyn Legal Services where he administered the nationally recognized Foreclosure Prevention Project, providing free legal assistance to victims of predatory lending. He is active in New York State in supporting non-profit services for low income individuals and families and provides training and reference for attorneys throughout the United States in the battle against predatory lending.
